Processing Times

While we have a significant amount of stock available from our Warehouse, some of the items listed on our website are only available in store. They can still be ordered, but may need to be transferred back to our Warehouse for process and dispatch. It can take 1-5 days to get an order back to our Warehouse and ready for shipping.

Domestic Orders

We use the Australia Post eParcel system for all domestic orders. Once an order has been fully processed, it will be picked up by Australia Post and will take 2-5 days to metropolitan locations. Regional locations should expect a few more days for the order to arrive. The eParcel system will email you tracking updates assuming the email address used in your order is valid. If you aren’t getting updates from Australia Post, please contact us and we can provide you with a tracking number.

Our business is adapting to the challenges presented by the pandemic, which means our normal practice of delivery has been impacted. As a result, we’re experiencing substantial delays in our network.

These delays are due to:

  • a reduction in air freight capacity and passenger flights (which also carry our parcels)
  • a significant increase in parcels volumes, many of which require manual sorting
  • health and safety requirements in our network (such as social distancing through zoning, and dedicated shift start times to reduce cross-over of workers)

We know these delays are frustrating, and we’re doing everything we can to keep delivering as safely and quickly as possible.

With the massive demand and current workforce capacity constraints in Victoria, we foresee an additional 3 day delay for deliveries in Victoria. This is both within and into Victoria.

Last week, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced that stage 4 restrictions would apply across Melbourne until 13 September 2020.

In line with these restrictions, from Tuesday 11 August, we’re required to reduce the number of people in our metro Melbourne distribution facilities. This will be coupled with split shifts, allowing cleaning between shifts and adherence to a COVID Safe Plan. These restrictions do not apply to any of our operations and deliveries network in regional Victoria.

This will have an impact on our ability to service businesses who rely on us for their customers’ online deliveries. It may also affect how fast we can deliver to the broader Australian community.

You may notice in the coming weeks, when tracking your parcels, that they are being processed and delivered from alternate locations. This is to ensure we keep moving items through our network as quickly as we can, whilst adhering to the stage 4 restrictions.

Our priority will be to make sure that essential services, such as medicine, are available to keep our most vulnerable members of the community safe.

Our Post Offices will remain open during this difficult time and our posties and drivers remain on the road.

While we’re doing everything we can to deliver your online purchases as safely and quickly as possible, we hope you understand that these additional restrictions may cause further delays.

International Orders

We do ship internationally, however due to the hugely varied nature of costs, international orders will be processed manually. Please contact us with your email and we will send you a form to fill out.  We will provide you with a quote from Australia Post, and should you wish to proceed, process payments and ship the goods. We are happy to work with you if you wish to use a different courier.
