When it was released it was commended for its eye-catching, pillarless coupe roof line and its wrap-over rear window, the forward reaching front and deep grill looked to be devouring the road ahead.
Holden’s long experience with Australian conditions meant the design improvements didn’t stop with the exterior looks. New levels of structural strength and safety, rough road stability and grip and a totally-new rear suspension design were all part of the new package.
