New Diecast Announcements from Classic Carlectables Available to Pre-Order Now!
Our friends at Classic Carlectables have announced some great new 1:18 models to be released in the first half of 2023.
Leading the announcements is the first model from their new Brewers of Australia Collection, which will feature their forthcoming Ford XC Falcon ute body with various beer liveries. The first release will be Victoria Bitter (18793) and this is expected to arrive in the 2nd quarter of 2023. Production quantities and pricing is yet to be confirmed, so pre-orders aren’t being taken online (yet), but you can place orders with your local Games World store. This will feature opening bonnet, doors and tailgate too.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Peter Brock’s (and the Holden Torana’s) first Bathurst victory in 1972, Classics are producing a special gold version of the LJ Torana GTR XU-1 (18795) in 1:18 scale. 1972 was also the first Great Race to be run in wet weather and the final 500 mile event, with the race extended to 1000 km (approx. 621 miles) for 1973. This Torana will feature opening bonnet, doors and boot lid with a scheduled production of 1000 units and is also expected to be released in the second quarter of 2023.
Also in the pipeline is the HX Monaro GTS sedan in Cotillion White (18794). This highly-detailed sports sedan also features fully opening features and should arrive around eth same time as the Torana above with a scheduled production of 750 units.
Other recent Classic announcements are the Ford XC Falcon Sundowner in Red Flame (18792 and following on from their Pine ‘n’ Lime one 18740 expected next month) and for Holden enthusiasts, the HQ Monaro GTS (18791) in Burgundy.
Apart from the Victoria Bitter Ford XC Falcon Utility, the rest of these items can be pre-ordered online, but all future releases can also be pre-ordered in your local Games World store, so don’t miss out!
