About This Product:
The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series is the domestic variant of the hugely successful Touring Car Racing formula adopted in more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, including the FIA WTCR World Touring Car Cup.
In 2022, the Australian series was won by Honda Wall Racing driver Tony D’Alberto who piloted the distinctive yellow and white #50 Honda Civic Type R across the season.
D’Alberto’s consistency across the season, claiming 17 top-10 finishes out of 20 races, which also included 2 wins and 5 podiums, paid off for him to ultimately be crowned the 2022 TCR champion after a gripping finale held at Bathurst in November.
D’Alberto expressed a mixture of relief and pride after the championship deciding race; “It has been a big journey for myself, Honda and Wall Racing, I had to convince Honda to get involved back in 2019 and I am just so proud and thankful we have delivered a championship for them.”
This is one of the first TCR cars to be produced by Authentic Collectables and we’re once again, very proud to be delivering a new style of model and added variety for Australian racing fans and collectors.
This release has been produced in sealed body format with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition of 244 with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
