Take away the significance of the driver and what you see above is nothing more than a derelict Austin Seven which had its body removed by a young boy with an axe, so that he could race it along tracks at the family farm. In reality it was the start of something that even that boy couldn't have imagined would come true. Peter Brock began learning his renowned craft of smooth driving and mechanical sympathy in this little Austin.
